The Barclays Dubai tournament organizing group said Tuesday that "security fears" were behind their decision to bar an Israeli player from entering the country. They said the presence of Israel's Shahar Peer "would have antagonized our fans." Basically, Peer is Israeli so Muslims don't like her, threatened violence and got her visa revoked.
