Did anybody else watch the Golden Globes last night? Just kidding. We didn't either. Like every other red-blooded American, we were watching the season premier of 24. We spent our night watching Keifer Sutherland be a badass, happy that the most action-packed, overtly jingoistic show in the history of television has returned. Jack is back, bitches.But apparently, "Slumdog Millionare" won a few awards -- in between the cussing at the awards show. The Grinder thought "Slumdog" was excellent, if not the revelation many critics did. The hero was a little too silent and slack-jawed to really root for. And, once we got passed being dazzled by the brutal poverty of India, the love story was a little thin. Then again, you can't blame any guy for falling in love with Frieda Pinto. We did.
